some resisters on the harddrive got scratched, so I just need a new board on the bottom. But I need a quantum fireball plus LM 30GB hdd's board to do this. Kudos to anyone who will sell it to me:)

I'm a little surprised that anyone involved with computers and the internet hasn't heard of Tivo, but it's a hard drive based video recorder and a lot of the first models used Quantum drives.

They also use a not very widespread partioning scheme and are "locked" so that if moved to a computer only hsow up as having about 10 MB of total space instead of however many GB.

One needs to google and read a lot before messing around with them.
