				WD3200JB - 00FAO. Manufactured - 19 Dec 2006 WD3200JB Caviar SE

# on PCB sticker - 2061-701314-A00 AP

It must be one of those physics things. I had just taken my external BU drive and wiped it to give to my son. I was installing a new SATA drive and MoBo. Well .... I reattached my primary (WD) drive to do a disk copy and it was dead. Just at EXACTLY the wrong time. Learned a lesson....never, never, ever, ever compromise your BU.

Anyway I have lots of family pics on the drive in addition to the normal BU stuff. If anyone has a PCB that will work we can discuss a price. Thanks all. BTW great site too. |

You are absolutely right - it's been a beeeach getting everything setup again. The correct model # is: WD3200JB-00KFA0

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. |
