Is anybody tried to replace logic board on this model?
My hard drive is completely dead. It won’t spin; there is nothing to hear. BIOS won’t recognize it; nothing. Connected or not, there is no differences.
Can anyone tell me where I can find firmware on Maxtor diamondMax Plus 9 3.5 series-80GB
This is what I found:
Code: YA42BW0
SN: Y2M99XPE
6Y080L421001
LBA: 160086528
On one side i found this:
Y2M99XPE FY42A
On the logic board side i found this:
on the left-15484722; on the right-G2FYA and 10043LJHMER
What i sow in this forum, firmware should be either FY42A or G2FYA. Help, please.

u can use any board from the drive that has BWO and 6Y080L not P
P is 8 Mb of cash
