Help my hard drive crashed and I need to repair it quickly. It has my wife's current PhD dissertation and loads of other crucial documents. If you have a Maxtor 6E040L0 or a logic board from one please email me. This came out of a Dell Dimension 2400.

please can you explain the fault on your unit
is it beeping away or not being picked up in the bios

we can try and help you out more
