I'm looking for any options that might help me temporarily repair my WD 250GB drive so I can recover some data from it.

Model: WD2500JB-00REA0 (WD Caviar SE)
Date: 25 JUL 2006
DCM: DSCACT2CA

PCB: 2060-701292-002 REV A (stamped on board)

Sticker underneath IDE interface reads:
2061-701292-C00 AC, XW 3E10 RN3W 9 0007040, 7047

Symptoms:
    Drive doesn't want to power up.
    Did not make any clicking noises before dying.
    Died while the computer was on; drive disappeared in Windows Explorer.
    Before it died all external USB devices took a longer time than usual to be recognized when plugged in.
