| Would I be able to use a board from a WD4000YR-00PLB0 successfully as long as it shares the 2060-701310-004 REV A model number? I can swap my U12 out no problem once I get a star wrench. | |

| The rule of thumb appears to be that, if a drive spins up, or if it tries to spin up, then the board is probably OK. Instead the problem is most likely with the HDA (head/disc assembly).
