I tough it was the board because the bios won't recognize the hd and the beeping sound comes from the motor trying to spin the hard drive After a good shake the HD spin for ... |

| Hi,
My WD 2.5 external hard drive just died yesterday I'm guessing is the logic board because if a plug the HD in the usb port I hear BEEP sound and is not recognized by the OS....I did try 2 more ... |
