My drive is a WD1200JB.

Do you have any replacemente board for this?

One doubt arise me on the link I gave. Is he referring to the PCB Etched code or the PCB Label code (he refers the "(IDE) white bar code label", and then the "PCB#") Would he meant the same thing?

Hi,

Try to find a matched donnor PCB, which have same PCB number "2060-******-00* REV A"

Then swap rom chip before swap PCB.

Are you sure of that info Erin ...

According to several threads of several foruns that I read, it appears that in your particular case, if you have matched also the DCM then you wouldn't need to swap the ROM (U12) chip.
